Our Toolbox for Tomorrow’s Leaders pilot program at Inverness Middle School is giving students hands-on opportunities to learn from local businesses, skilled tradespeople, and industry professionals right here in Citrus County.
Through this after-school program, students participate in engaging sessions that introduce them to different career pathways, practical skills, and the kinds of opportunities that exist in their own community. It’s all about helping students connect what they are learning in the classroom to real-world careers and future possibilities.
Programs like this show students that their future is full of options — and sometimes all it takes is one experience to spark a passion.
