Words from our Principal…

At our school, we believe in fostering a culture of GRIT: Gratitude, Responsibility, Integrity, and Teachable. These expectations are designed to help every student thrive academically and socially on our campus. We ask that you please review these with your child as we work together to support them.

Move with Purpose: Students should head directly to class or have an electronic pass from a staff member. This ensures a safe and productive learning environment for everyone.

Device-Free Learning: To minimize distractions and maximize learning, all cell phones should be powered off and kept out of sight in a zipped backpack. This helps students stay engaged with their teachers and peers.

Respect Our Space: To help us keep our campus clean and well-maintained for all students, gum is not permitted. We encourage students to enjoy a mint instead.

Maintain a Positive Community: Physical contact can sometimes escalate and make others feel unsafe. Students are expected to maintain respectful physical boundaries. If your child finds themselves in an uncomfortable situation, please encourage them to calmly remove themselves and find a trusted adult to report the issue.

Use Tools for Learning: School-issued iPads are powerful learning tools. Please remind your child that these devices are for classwork only.

Words Matter: Our community is built on mutual respect. We take all threats and inappropriate comments seriously, regardless of intent. Please talk to your child about the impact of their words and how a positive, kind tone creates a better environment for everyone.
