Statement from Crystal River Middle School Administration

This morning, during arrival, an accident occurred involving a bicycle and a vehicle near campus, in front of the side parking lot. Thankfully, the student sustained only minor injuries, but we know this was a frightening experience for everyone involved and any other families who may have witnessed the accident.

We are grateful for the quick response of our staff, first responders, and families who acted with care and compassion. We ask our community to keep those impacted in your thoughts as they recover.

As a reminder, we ask that you utilize the car rider loop in the front of the school and do not enter the area by the flagpole. Your child’s safety is our number one priority and using the designated area allows us to maintain adult supervision at all times.
